Terms of service

Last updated: August 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of Certified Mail Desk, operated by Products by Kendall, Inc.. By placing an order you agree to them.

What we do

You upload a PDF and enter a recipient and return address. We arrange for the document to be printed and sent by USPS Certified Mail, which may involve trusted third-party service providers acting under confidentiality obligations for the sole purpose of printing and mailing. We record the USPS article number, mailing date, tracking, and, when you include it, the Electronic Return Receipt, and we keep those records on file for you.

What we do not do

We are a mailing service, not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice. We do not control the United States Postal Service. We cannot guarantee a delivery date or that a recipient will accept or claim a letter. Certified Mail establishes a record of mailing and delivery; it does not by itself satisfy any legal notice requirement, which depends on your circumstances.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content of what you send, for meeting your own filing and service deadlines, and for the accuracy of the addresses you enter. We verify addresses against USPS data and warn you when an address cannot be fully verified, but if you choose to send to an unverified address, that is your decision. You confirm you are authorized to mail the document and that doing so is lawful.

Acceptable use

You may not use Certified Mail Desk to send anything unlawful, threatening, or fraudulent, to harass a recipient, or to send material you are not entitled to send. You may not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service. We may decline or cancel an order that appears to violate these terms and will refund it in accordance with our Refund policy.

Fees and payment

Prices are shown before you pay and are charged in full at checkout through our payment processor. The price of a letter depends on page count, single- or double-sided printing, color, and whether you include the Electronic Return Receipt.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed deadlines, lost claims, or delays caused by USPS or by inaccurate address information you provided.
